This is our final update of 2022 and despite the challenges that the construction sector has faced this year, we’ve still so many things to be thankful for.
Winter is well and truly upon us and the freezing temperatures and thawing morning sunshine are making construction conditions challenging. Our teams have been on hand helping large numbers of our customers needing additional heating and lighting equipment to keep projects moving through the Winter.
It’s been a big team effort which reflects the theme of this year and from our team to you and yours, we would like to thank you for your continued support and also our team for helping us to provide the quality and service we are known for.

Christmas Shutdown
We’ll be closing for Christmas and New Year at 12pm on Friday 23 December and will re-open for business at 7.30am on Tuesday 3 January 2023. If you haven’t done so already, please get in touch with us now for any equipment collections or suspensions from site.
New Year Rush
If you need any equipment in the New Year, please don’t wait to confirm your orders as it’s one of our busiest times as teams return from the Christmas break. We’re taking orders right up until the shutdown for New Year deliveries so jump the queue and get organised early by contacting our Hire Desk now.
Bristol & Bath Property Awards
We were so thrilled to be shortlisted in both the Bristol and the Bath Property Awards this year after winning the Suppliers and Services award at both events last year.
Although it was not our year to bring home the coveted engraved bricks this year, we were so pleased to be in the room with so many of the property and construction sector in our region, all winners on the day.
Huge congrats on the Rising Star award which we presented to Vyoo Windows, our guests at the Bristol Property awards and it was great to see them recognised.
New Fleet News! – Brand new pumping trucks arrive
This month, we took delivery of our brand new pumping trucks for our sanitation division.
Portable toilets are one of our most popular hires, often with a waiting list, so keeping them maintained efficiently is paramount for us and our customers. We’ve invested in over 350 new product lines this year to maintain the highest quality of hire products. It’s something we won’t compromise on and underpins our customer service charter.
Two of our used trucks are now up for sale at a heavily discounted price along with our other ex-hire items so get in touch with us if you’re looking for a bargain.
New Kit News! – Tigerbite Available from January 2023
We are pleased and excited to bring Tigerbite to our product range in the new year. With reduction of recycling a high priority for all, the Tigerbite Mini-Crusher is a compact crusher with the power to crush 6-8 tonnes of building waste, such as concrete, brick, slabs, blocks and rubble down to just 25ml. Many customers then re-use this as sub-base rather than pay for waste removal. Those who do pay for it are improving skip-fill rates threefold. Customer benefits include:
- Reduction of removal and recycling costs
- Time saved on project
- Avoid additional labour costs
- Trim manual labour tasks and injury risks
- Ability to provide more competitive quotes.
