We recently caught up with Mark Woolliscroft - Training Manager at Alide Hire Services, to get to know him little better and learn more about his vision for our new Training Department.
Tell us a bit about your background and ...what brought you to Alide Hire Services?
“Absolutely. I’ve always had a real passion for the access industry. I come to Alide with 26 years of experience in this field, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been focused on training—specialising in Working at Height–related courses such as IPAF and PASMA. Over that time, I’ve also expanded my knowledge into other short-duration training courses to broaden my expertise.”
What excites you most about this new role with Alide?
“This new venture with Alide’s Training Department is exciting for me. Our goal is to develop it over time into a one-stop shop for all our customers’ training needs. I’m particularly looking forward to growing our team and building something that delivers real value to both our customers and the business.”
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
“Outside of work, I enjoy a round or two of golf when I can fit it in—though most of my time is spent being a dad to two teenage boys who definitely keep me on my toes!”
